Bilohiria in brief

Until 1946 the settlement was called Liakhivtsi; its first written record dates from 20 January 1441. In 1583 King Stephen B?thory granted it Magdeburg rights, and the same year the Seniuta family became its owners. In the early 17th century Pawel-Krzysztof Seniuta made Liakhivtsi a centre of the Arians and founded St. Vincent's Church. In 1681 Prince Stanislaw Jablonowski bought the estates. The present name comes from the "white hills" — chalk deposits around the settlement.

Where locals take their flowers

Bilohiria, home to about 5,500 people, is the centre of the Bilohiria settlement hromada in Shepetivka district. Bilohiria lies on the Horyn River among chalk hills. Its past survives in St. Vincent's Church (begun in 1612), the remains of a fortress and the ruins of a 16th-century Dominican monastery; a monument to Taras Shevchenko stands in the centre. The railway from Shepetivka arrived in 1914, and today dairy, bakery and brick production are local industries. We deliver flowers to any address in Bilohiria.

Holidays and Dates

Flowers for teachers on September 1 are a long tradition, and in late May and June bouquets go to graduations. March 8 and February 14 are the busiest days for flowers, so it is best to order early. A bouquet for a birthday, an anniversary or just because can be ordered for a specific date and time.
