Bukovel: the resort by Polianytsia

Bukovel is not a town but a year-round ski resort on the land of the Carpathian village of Polianytsia, named after Mount Bukovel. Its history is recent: an agreement to create the resort was signed in 2000, with a master plan drawn up with Austria's Plan-Alp and Canada's Ecosign. Work on the first 691-metre lift began in late 2001, a 1,000-metre chairlift followed in 2002, Lake Molodosti (6.8 ha) was created in 2012, and the Artek-Bukovel children's centre opened in 2014.

Bukovel today

The resort lies at 920 m at the foot of Mount Bukovel in the Prutets Yablunytskyi basin and spreads over five mountains, topped by Mount Dovha. The winter season can run from December to April on snowmaking-equipped slopes, some lit for evening skiing; in summer there is a bike park, the Mavka water park and a 45-metre Ferris wheel, and in 2024 its biathlon complex hosted the Ukrainian championship. We can deliver a bouquet to your hotel or chalet in Bukovel.
