Buryn, a town with chronicle history
As «Byryn», the settlement appears in the «List of Rus' Towns Far and Near» of 1387–1392. In 1503, under a truce, it passed to the Chernihiv-Siversk land. A new stage began with the railway station in 1868 and the sugar factory in 1894, and Buryn became a town in 1964.
