Medenychi: a little history
Medenychi is known from 1395, when it appeared in a charter of King W?adys?aw II Jagie??o. Early residents kept bees, so the 15th–16th-century seal showed three beehives. From 1533 to 1989 the settlement was called Medenytsia.
