The tourist season in Bali

Unearthly beauty of Bali is always open to tourists from different corners of the planet. It is warm year-round, daytime temperatures hovers around 30°C, and the water temperature does not drop below 26°C. However, be aware that there are two major periods in this area with a tropical climate: the dry season and the rainy season.

Rainy season on the island lasts from November to March. But this is not an obstacle for tourist trips there, and even vice versa. And the point is that it is raining during the night and during the day bright sun still continues to shine. In addition, half an hour after the rain the asphalt is completely dry. But prices during the rainy season are greatly reduced, so it's time to spend a memorable vacation and save money.

For those who want an active vacation - for example, hiking in the mountains - it is better to go in the dry season from June to September, because after the rains it is cold enough in the mountains. And if you want to meet New Year in Bali, be prepared to spend extra money and plan your trip in advance, because at the end of December there is a real tourist boom.

What to see in Bali

Everybody can find something to do on Bali: from lying on the beach to surfing or climbing. The best option is to try it all. Therefore, we will tell you a little bit of everything, and only you will choose something for your liking.

Nature. A wild tropical nature beckons lots of people on the Indonesian island. Beaches and the Monkey Forest are a Bali’s symbol for tourists, it is difficult to even imagine a vacation in Bali without them. A dormant volcanoes and mountains of the island are fascinating us with their unearthly beauty, especially if you are meeting sunrises or sunsets there.

Temples. Architecture in Bali is extraordinarily beautiful and original, especially for a representative of Western culture. Each temple is unique and majestic in its own way. Their locations are often unexpected: in the cemetery, in the rice fields or in the jungle. So do not be surprised if during a routine walk to the local market you accidentally stumble upon a work of art. The most famous historical temples in Bali are:

Sights. Tourists who love outdoor activities and going for adventure, must see at least:

• The ancient city Almapura in the past was the capital of the Kingdom of Karangasem. Its royal castles are considered one of the jewels of architecture in Bali;
• Taman Gili Complex retained the original appearance over three hundred years. The highlight of the complex is the former palace of justice, which walls are decorated with paintings from Balinese folklore;
• Elephant Cave` was a sacred place for Hindus and Buddhists. There remained a lot of ancient objects of worship, including a statue of Ganesha and Shiva characters.

Bali has always been extremely popular among tourists. And let the cost of this tour for many people is much higher than the permissible budget holiday, believe us: you have to see the lush tropical vegetation, high cliffs, lapped by the waters of the Indian Ocean, the ancient temple architecture with your own eyes!
