Flowers in Velyka Berezovytsia delivered to a home or office: roses, hydrangeas, flower boxes and bouquets for any occasion. The greeting card is free.
Velyka Berezovytsia appears in archival records of 1458 and 1474; its first known owners were the Buczacki family of the Abdank coat of arms. By the late 18th century the name already carried the prefix Velyka (Great), a primary school opened in 1848, and in early 1897 a railway to Khodoriv opened with Berezovytsia-Ostriv station. In 1936–1938 the community built a People's House, and the Podillia sugar factory was founded at the same time. The village became an urban-type settlement on 6 July 1957.
Natives include poet and playwright Levko Krupa (1943–2000), Sich Rifleman Mykola Pachovskyi (1894–1968), who helped raise the Ukrainian flag over Lviv town hall on 1 November 1918, engineering scholar Roman Rohatynskyi (b. 1955) and medic and volunteer Ivanka Chobaniuk (b. 1993), a People's Hero of Ukraine. Priest Yosyf Skomorovskyi (1815–1891), compiler of a five-volume Ukrainian-Polish dictionary, served here, and Olympic biathlon champion Olena Pidhrushna lived here.
The settlement lies on the Seret River 6 km from central Ternopil, on the E85 road and the Ternopil–Chortkiv railway. Sights include the Church of the Ascension (1859–1861), a Roman Catholic chapel (1899) with a stone bell tower (1933), the Taras Shevchenko monument by Mykola Neveselyi (1993), an 18th-century marker commemorating a lord's daughter saved from wolves, and the Holy Trinity Spring. It is also home to the Ternopil Theological Seminary named after Patriarch Josyf Slipyi. We deliver bouquets to any address in Velyka Berezovytsia.
